Hi, I am planning a stay at the Polynesian in August. I'm having a hard time figuring out if reservations are required at the Kona Cafe. I keep reading about the Tonga Toast and I'm curious to try it for breakfast one day.

    Hi Mindy,

I love breakfast at Kona Cafe! In addition to the famous Tonga Toast, the menu includes lots of delicious dishes. My favorite is the Samoan, poached eggs and hollandaise over pulled pork hash. Such savory decadence! You can see the entire breakfast menu here.

Kona Cafe does offer walk up seating if space is available but I would recommend an advanced dining reservation, just to be sure you don't miss out.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mindy. Please let us know if we can offer any other dining recommendations for you as your vacation nears. Enjoy!
