If we are planning to stay 6 nights, would it be possible to stay at a moderate resort for 3 nights and move to a deluxe resort for 3 nights? If possible, would it be easy to get our luggage moved to the second resort?

Hi Tony. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am glad to hEAR you are planning a Disney vacation. “Split stays” are great!  It is an amazing opportunity for you to experience more than one Disney Resort Hotel on the same trip.
You don’t have to worry about your luggage. Cast Members are happy to transfer your luggage to your second resort. You will take your luggage to Bell Services at your first Resort and they will transfer them to your second Resort. You can head to your new resort, check-in and inform them about your luggage. I encourage you to ask them to have your bags brought to your room when they arrive. Luggage transfer time varies from 30 minutes to several hours. I suggest you take with you anything you may need right after checking in at the second Resort, so that you can start to have fun without worrying about the time your luggage will arrive.
Hope this information helps your planning. Let us know if you have further questions.
    Have a wonderful day!
