we're planning to stay in a moderate resort for 14 nights & doing the 'disney dining plan'. Then we want to stay with friends for a 3rd week. Can we carry over any unused dining credits from dining plan or do they expire?

    Hi Steven,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort will be so much fun, it sounds like you will have a wonderful time in Florida, three weeks will be quite the vacation!

With the Disney Dining Plan your entitlements will become active upon check-in and are valid until midnight of the day you checkout.  Unfortunately they do not carry over and cannot be used after your midnight on the day of your checkout.  The only idea that I could suggest would be to use your snacks for options that you can bring with you to your friend’s home for the third week.  We like to bring home treats from Goofy’s Candy Co. as well as some treats from the bakery such as fudge and muffins. If you like, bottles of juice and soft drinks would also make good choices to use for snacks, since they trave well, and can be kept for several days.  If you have any Quick-Service Meals left over you can also exchange the credits for additional snacks, or even bring some Quick-Serve meals like pizza with you to your friend’s that you could enjoy the next day.

I hope you have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World Resort, Steven.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.

    Stephanie
