I am planning a stay in March and want to stay a few night at Animal Kingdom as I have never stayed there...where should I book to see the most animals from my room in a standard room?

Hi Judith!  Thank you for asking a question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My family recently stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge and loved watching the wildlife from our Arusha Savanna view.  The resort provides a Wildlife Field Guide that identifies each species of African wildlife on the property.  We used this check off list to help us track the animals we encountered.  While we enjoyed watching giraffes, zebras, gazelles and cranes from our room, talking with Animal Specialists located around the savannas offered more information and interesting details about the wildlife.  Consider planning time in your visit to utilize the night vision goggles.  For me, this was a highlight of my visit to the resort! The night vision goggles were available at the Uzima Savanna overlook near the main pool.  This was a unique way of wildlife viewing that I had never experienced!

I hope you have a wonderful time visiting Animal Kingdom Lodge!
