I am planning to stay at a Disney Resort for my trip and I was wondering can I bring a cooler filled with water and snacks to my room? Is a griddle allowed on the property?

    Greetings, Nataly!

Welcome to planDisney! I am so excited to hear that you are planning a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotel. There are so many amazing options to choose from and each hotel is uniquely themed. Guests of a Walt Disney World Resort also enjoy exclusive benefits during their stays like extended theme park hours and complimentary transportation. You can also make dining reservations at the 60-day mark for up to ten days, which may help secure popular Character Dining experiences and Signature Dining options!

Nataly, you are welcome to bring food and beverages to any Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Guest rooms even have a beverage cooler or mini-fridge to keep drinks and perishable items cold. There is no need for a cooler unless you would like to take cold items to the theme parks. So, bring your favorite snacks to enjoy after a long day at the parks and plenty of water to stay hydrated! I am a big fan of using your favorite grocery delivery service for food, especially perishables. This helps leave room in your suitcase for souvenirs and keeps everything fresh for you to enjoy. Your groceries can even be left with Bell Services if you are out enjoying time in the theme parks. I do want to let you know that small appliances like griddles, slow cookers, and hot plates are not allowed in any of the hotels.

If cooking a meal for your family during your stay is at the top of your list, I recommend checking out the multiple accommodations that offer full kitchens! You'll have extra space to spread out, and everything you'll need to create and enjoy a meal together. The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort are a great option. You can also reserve a One, Two, or even Three Bedroom Villa at one of the Disney Deluxe Villa locations. These options also provide a full kitchen, and they have in-room laundry units! There are some truly amazing rooms in this collection, and you can easily book them online while you are creating your Walt Disney World vacation package

I hope that your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
