Welcome to planDisney, Michelle, and thanks for dropping by with your question!
Michelle, with warm days, but tepid evenings, March is a beautiful time of the year to visit Walt Disney World. Typically the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival kicks off in March, so if you're planning to visit this park, you'll likely be treated to a feast for the senses with the most gorgeous flowers and topiaries all around the park.
Now, Michelle, when my family is on vacation, we always like to build in some pool time, so let's dive into your question. The Fuentes del Morro Pool at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is scheduled to undergo routine maintenance through the end of March, so the chances are very likely that the main pool will be unavailable during your stay. While it's possible that the
Fuentes del Morro Pool might open up toward the end of your visit if having guaranteed access to the main pool is a deal-breaker, you may want to consider changing your dates or moving resorts
(subject to availability). If your family just likes a quick dip to cool off after a long park day and slide access is only a bonus, all five of the smaller, leisure pools will be open during this time and you'll find these
located all throughout the resort.
Michelle, while likely this was not the information you wished to hear, I hope that it helps as you consider your upcoming trip. If changing resorts is something that interests you, I love the
Lost City of Cibola pool at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort (but keep in mind that Disney Skyliner transportation does not service this resort).
No matter what you decide or how you fill your days during your March vacation, I'll be wishing on a star that it is a fairytale visit. Please come on back to planDisney with any additional questions.
