We are planning to stay at the Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort with an RV (C28). 1.Is it possible to park a car and the RV together and set up a tent? We’re concerned about parking space for the car. Could you advise on the best approach?

    Konnichiwa, friend!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for sending your question to us as you prepare for your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth. I'd be happy to assist with your camping inquiry.

Depending on the campsite you reserve, it may be possible to accommodate all your equipment and vehicle in your space. Let's review the options. In your case, a Full Hookup Campsite sounds like it will work, as it fits an RV plus a tent on a concrete pad that is 10 ft by 50 ft (about 3 meters by 15 meters) in size. If you cannot fit your car on the concrete pad without infringing upon the grass or road, you can park it in the lot near the main entrance to the campground after unpacking and settling in.

Another site that may work for you is the Premium Campsite, which features 18 ft by 60 feet (5.5 by 18 meters) of concrete space. The Premium Meadow Campsites provide similar square footage but are closer to the Meadow Trading Post, Meadow Recreation Area, Bike Barn, and Campfire Area.

I hope this information helps you choose the perfect spot for your wilderness adventure! Be sure to enjoy the many activities at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort - my favorites are Chip' n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long and the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. And don't miss the Meadow Swimmin' Pool with its fun water slide!

Please feel free to reach out with any more questions as you plan your trip. Thank you again for visiting planDisney, and may your journey be filled with magic!
