I am planning a stay at the cabins in Fort Wilderness. Are there golf cart parking areas near the bus stop? I would love to use a cart in the morning to ride to the park bus and have it waiting for me after a long day on my feet. Thank you!

Hi, there, Erica! Welcome back to planDisney! It's been way too long, but we are so glad you made your way back to us. I'm so excited that you are staying at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort - A Disney Vacation Club Resort later this year. Let's talk golf carts!

Golf carts are an excellent way to navigate this expansive resort. You can bring your own with proof of insurance or consider Golf Cart Rental. If you prefer to rent, reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to one year in advance, so you can reserve now if you'd like, pending availability.

I have good news for you, Erica! There is golf cart parking available near the bus stop at the entrance to the resort, so you may drive it there and park it for the day. Internal bus transportation is also available if you'd prefer not to drive your cart.

There is so much to do at Fort Wilderness! It's almost a vacation in itself. There are several unique recreational activities that you'll only find there. Some of my favorites are Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-Along and the Tri-Circle-D Ranch. For me, no visit to the Fort is complete without checking in on the Pioneer Hall Players at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. If the promise of a slap stick style comedy musical show doesn't lure you in, surely the fried chicken and strawberry shortcake will.

I hope you have a fantastic time at Fort Wilderness and that you'll come back to visit us here at planDisney soon with more questions.

    Have a magical trip!
