Golf carts are an excellent way to navigate this expansive resort. You can bring your own with proof of insurance or consider
Golf Cart Rental. If you prefer to rent, reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to one year in advance, so you can reserve now if you'd like, pending availability.
I have good news for you, Erica! There is golf cart parking available near the bus stop at the entrance to the resort, so you may drive it there and park it for the day. Internal bus transportation is also available if you'd prefer not to drive your cart.
There is so much to do at Fort Wilderness! It's almost a vacation in itself. There are several unique
recreational activities that you'll only find there. Some of my favorites are Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-Along and the
Tri-Circle-D Ranch. For me, no visit to the Fort is complete without checking in on the Pioneer Hall Players at
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. If the promise of a slap stick style comedy musical show doesn't lure you in, surely the fried chicken and strawberry shortcake will.
