We are planning to stay at the Beach Club resort the 3rd week of April. Does anyone know if Stormalong Bay is heated? This is a trip to celebrate our son's 2nd birthday. Does anyone have an suggestions about where to spend our time?

Thank you for that great question. Your family is going to really enjoy staying at Disney's Beach Club Resort. My family loves the lakeside landscape and the wide variety of water activities, including the lazy circular river. The great news is you will always enjoy the same water temperature all year round and at every Walt Disney World property. All the pools are heated to a perfect 82 degrees. That way you and your family will never miss out on all the cool experiences the resort has to offer. The resort also has a great character breakfast at Cape may Cafe that you and your little one will enjoy.

As far as where to spend your time, my family always begins each magical vacation at the Magic Kingdom. Your little one will be filled with wonder as you adventure along on the Jungle Cruise, or soar on The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. There are so many amazing magical memories waiting for you and your family on your son's birthday. Make sure you go to City Hall and get a birthday pin on the special day.
