Planning a stay at AoA this Nov, but want to sign DS(5yo) up for a Pirate Adventure Cruise. From AoA, which cruise would you recommend for convenience? Based on that, suggestions on how to occupy this time for me, DH, and DD(2yo)?

    Hello, Jen,

While my children are now adults and teenagers, I still have a photo of them dressed as little pirates with their "loot" after they finished their Pirate Adventure Cruise up on the wall; it is such a treasure for me.

To keep things convenient and simple, I would suggest the Disney's Pirate Adventure at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  You can go to the Magic Kingdom from your resort then hop on the resort monorail to easily get from the Magic Kingdom to the resort. Once your son is on the adventure, the rest of you can enjoy time exploring the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The lobby is a wonderful place to "camp out" and relax, and there is a even a spot for children with Disney movies and cartoons playing. The resort has several stores as well as restaurants that you can enjoy, too, not to mention play time on the sandy beach. If you get bored or restless there, it is easy to get on the resort monorail to go for a ride and even visit Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

Have a great trip and please let us know if we can help again with your planning.
