Jambo Carrie!
Welcome to
planDisney. Thanks for stopping by as you prepare for your summer adventure to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Let's explore the features of your studio - it's going to be a wildly wonderful stay!
My family also loves the layout of a deluxe studio. It feels more spacious than standard resort rooms, and the added kitchenette is perfect for prepping breakfasts and storing snacks. When the sofa bed is tucked away, you'll have a bit more floor space, and I think you'll be able to fit two twin-sized air mattresses, but it'll be a tight squeeze. You might need to slide the coffee table to the foot of the main bed or into the hallway to make it work. As you navigate the arrangement, avoid moving large furniture pieces for your safety.
I hope everything works out for you, Carrie! Since you have a bit of time before your vacation, if having more than two sleeping spaces is essential to your trip, I'll share a few alternatives that would save you the hassle of bringing an air mattress and provide more comfort to all.
*
Disney's Art of Animation Resort and
Disney's All-Star Music Resort. The family suites at these resorts include a queen-size bed and two full-size pull-down beds, providing ample room for everyone to rest comfortably.
*
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. If an immersive escape appeals to you, consider roughing it in style at one of Walt Disney World's original resorts. These charming, stand-alone accommodations feature three separate sleeping spaces.
*Larger rooms at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. One-bedroom villas at this resort include a king-size bed in the main bedroom and a full-size sleeper sofa in the living room. I know this is still only two beds, but the extra space makes it easier to add an air mattress if needed.
As a mom of two kids who prefer their own sleeping spots, I completely understand the need to get creative with sleeping arrangements! I hope these suggestions help increase everyone's comfort on vacation. As you
