    We're planning a stay at AKL. We noticed there are a lot of good restaurants at Downtown Disney. Knowing that we will be relying on Disney transportation, will it be a problem if we plan multiple meals over there?

    Hi, James!

    Don't laugh, but our first stop on any Disney vacation is in Downtown Disney where we go straight to our favorite Quick Service restaurant on property:  Wolfgang Puck Express.  Here, we enjoy pizza, pasta, and our favorite, BBQ chicken salad.  It is a Quick Service location, but after you order, your meal is served to you on real plates (no plastic) and you can get refills on your drinks or your server will happily get them for you.

    Other favorite locations to eat at in Downtown Disney include Rainforest Cafe, Earl of Sandwich, Fulton's, T-REX, and so many more!  So go for it!  Plan to eat there as often as you wish!  Buses run directly from resorts to Downtown Disney, but remember that there are not direct bus routes to Downtown Disney from the theme parks (transferring is necessary, your best bet from a theme park is to take a bus to Saratoga Springs and walk over to Downtown Disney).  Taxis are also available for hire (most fares around $15).

    While in Downtown Disney, plan some extra time for shopping, ice cream, or even to catch a movie.  Have a great time!
