I am in the planning stages of a school club trip. We are interested in traveling with 3 teachers and about 16 students. What is the best way to plan a trip like this?

Hey there, Kat! Welcome to planDisney!

So, you’ve been gifted the experience of planning a Walt Disney World trip for a large group. Kat, you’ve come to the right place for help. So many of us here at planDisney are great at planning Disney trips for groups large and small. It might seem daunting, but let me be the first to say, you’ve got this!

My fellow panelist pal Matt provides some solid advice in his answer to a somewhat similar question. Starting off by checking out what’s available on the Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page is always a good idea. While there are no offers specific to school groups there right now, it never hurts to check and see what ticket offers could apply to your group. As far as sleeping rooms go, Disney has a team dedicated to helping with 10 sleeping rooms or more. Contact the Group Reservations team and speak with one of the amazing cast members there who would love to help.

Finally, if you’re interested in sprinkling in some cool educational experiences during your visit, check out the offerings from the Disney Imagination Campus. Specially priced tickets are part of some of the experiences offered, and they offer curriculum that spans several disciplines. The Disney Imagination Campus site even has its own Special Offers page, so be sure to give the site a good look!

I hope this gets you started on the right path, Kat. Please don’t hesitate to swing by again if you need more help with planning - we’re happy to help! We’ll see ya real soon!

    Your pal,
    Sakinah
