We are in the planning stages for a large family trip. FIL wants to start at AofA (3 families) but we would all have our own room. We would like the rooms with the king but would need a rollaway for two children (separate rooms). Are rollaways available?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melissa! I love Disney’s Art of Animation Resort for it’s bigger than life characters and ability to bring the animation classics we love so much to life! I stayed in a CARS suite last year with friends and it was so wonderful!

The king bedrooms at Art of Animation are a few of The Little Mermaid rooms. These rooms, much like the Family Suites, are designed to fit the maximum occupancy of the rooms and rollaways are not available at this location. If you are looking to house families bigger than 4, I would recommend you look at the Family Suites themed to CARS, Nemo and The Lion King. These suites offer three beds (2 fulls and one queen) as well as a kitchenette, sitting area and two full bathrooms, which comes in handy! The queen bedroom can be closed off in case of napping children, too. I would love to hear more about the setups of the families so I can offer other options for you around Walt Disney World Resort. Please return to ask me as many questions as you would like so I can follow up with you and bring some magic to your extended family vacation! I’ll see ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
