We are in planning stage for a Christmas Disney visit. We are looking at a down day in the middle of our trip. My grandsons and I are avid fishermen. Their ages will be 10 and 8. What is the cost of the fishing packages?

Thanks for coming back to planDisney, Ken! I really enjoy bass fishing! Having the chance to answer a fishing-related question is just great! The water bodies of the Walt Disney World Resort are home to some lunkers! In fact, thousands of bass live within Bay Lake with the most common catch being anywhere from two-to-eight pounds!

Ken, I think it's great that you plan on taking your grandsons fishing during your vacation! Guests of the Walt Disney World Resort can schedule either a two-hour or four-hour fishing excursion from a variety of hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection including Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's Wilderness Lodge and more! On the low-end, expect to pay around $250 for a guided excursion with gear and bait all provided. On the high-end, expect to pay around $455. Prices are always subject to change so Guests should call (407)-939-BASS or (407)-939-2277 to book their fishing excursion and receive the most up-to-date pricing. Be sure to book your fishing excursion at least 24-hours in advance!
