I am planning on a spring break vaca (4/1/12-4/7/12) with my 11 year old daughter & her friend. What kind of weather can we expect then. Will it be a good time to go to the water parks? We are staying @ Wilderness Lodge. What activities for tweens?

Hi Rose - In my experience, the weather in April is usually excellent for visiting the water parks.  The average high temperature is in the mid-80s, although I always recommend that you check the forecast before you pack because it can vary.

There are loads of activities for tweens at Walt Disney World.  Some options are water activities at the Contemporary, the pool at the Wilderness Lodge, mini golf at Fantasia Gardens, and the Buttons & Bells Arcade at the Wilderness Lodge.  Of course, there are plenty of tween-friendly attractions in the parks too.  If your daughter and her friend are into thrill rides, you'll definitely have to check out the Rock N Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom.

I hope that helps!  Have a great vacation!
