Hey there, thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Wendy your resort selection is an excellent one. I have stayed there before with my family and we fell in love the moment we walked in. The vibrant colors and lush landscapes had us feeling the island vibes. It was such a relaxing atmosphere everywhere you turned.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort transports guests to 5 distinct locations: Martinique, Barbados, Jamaica, Aruba, and Trinidad. This resort really celebrates the Caribbean islands and you feel like everything has slowed down. Hammocks and other relaxing details are available throughout the resort. When you first arrive you will visit the "port of entry", Old Port Royale will give you a whole experience. It's perfect to eat, gather, or even just hang out. You will be able to check in here and also check the activities available that week. The activity list is where you can find out if the Mickey tie-dye activity is still available. Unfortunately, the main Fuentes del Morro pool will have routine scheduled maintenance from January 2024 through late March 2024. All 5 of the areas have a leisure pool that will be available to all guests.
The access to the parks got a little easier once the
Disney Skyliner was finished. This is the newest way to get to 2 of the 4 theme parks. This state-of-the-art gondola system takes you right to
Disney's Hollywood Studio and
EPCOT. The EPCOT International Gateway is where you get dropped off and a great tip is to make sure you are there early so you can walk right to
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and cut out about a 10-15 minute walk from the regular main entrance near
Spaceship Earth. The other park you can zip along to on the Skyliner is chock full of movies and probably a top 3 area to visit when visiting.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge transports you to Batuu, a place full of surprises. Some days you can catch the likes of Chewbacca, Rey, and even Stormtroopers just walking around the streets.
I hope you found this information helpful for planning your stay in 2024. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements about the happenings for your dates. If you need any other tips or advice please don't hesitate to visit us again at
planDisney.com and we will be ready to help.
Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
