We are planning a split stay. Staying at Yacht Club every night except for our last night. If we check out of yacht club in the morning will we still be able to use extra evening hours that evening?

    Hey There, Rebecca!

Welcome back to planDisney!  While it might seem far away, July is going to be here before you know it.  Pretty soon, you'll be strolling down Main Street, U.S.A., munching on a Mickey pretzel, and enjoying all the sights and sounds of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration –– so much fun is coming your way!  If you've already purchased your theme park admission, don't forget to make your theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass reservation system, which can be done right from the My Disney Experience mobile app.  Lately, we've even seen theme park reservations fill up during busy times of the year, so be sure to check that off your planning to-do list soon.

I love booking a split-stay when my family visits Walt Disney World Resort –– it almost feels like getting two vacations in one!  Before your visit, be sure to check out our planDisney Pocket Guides for all the details about your Resorts before you arrive. That way, you won't miss anything those two Resorts have to offer during your vacation.  I'm also happy to report that you will be able to take advantage of the Extended Evening Hours benefit on the day you check out of Disney's Yacht Club Resort, even if you're transferring to another hotel that doesn't offer this perk to Guests.  Just be aware that Extended Evening Hours are only offered at certain Walt Disney World theme parks on specific nights (typically Mondays and Wednesdays) –– you'll want to keep an eye on the park hours for the week of your visit to see when this benefit is being offered.  Currently, park hours have only been released through the 4th of July, so you'll want to check back as your check-in date approaches for the most up-to-date information.

Thanks for visiting planDisney, Rebecca.  If you think of new questions as your visit to Walt Disney World Resort gets closer, I hope you'll drop back by –– we're always here to help!

    Happy Planning,
    Amy
