Hi! We are planning a split stay. A deluxe resort Monday-Wednesday and then a moderate Wednesday-Saturday. Will we still be eligible for extended evening hours on Wednesday the day we check out of the deluxe resort? Or will be considered as a moderate?

    Hi Michael,

Welcome to planDisney! Wow, your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort sounds amazing. One thing I love about Disney Resort hotels is the theming and ambiance at each Resort, and you’ll get to experience two Disney Resorts in one visit!

You may only participate in the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefit while you are checked in to your Deluxe Resort hotel. Since you are checking out of the Disney Deluxe Resort hotel on Wednesday and checking in to the Moderate Resort hotel, you will not be able to participate in Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. After you have checked in to your Moderate Resort hotel, you will still have access to Early Theme Park Entry. This will allow you to enter your theme park reservation 30 minutes early each day.

Michael, you didn’t share which Disney Resort hotels you are staying at, but I recommend that you stop by the Front Desk after checking in to ask for the weekly schedule of activities. From various arts & crafts to Movies Under the Stars, each Disney Resort hotel has recreational activities for you to enjoy when you’re not in the theme parks. My family likes to return to our Disney Resort hotel early in the evening so we can participate in roasting marshmallows by the campfire

Enjoy planning your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, Michael. If you have any future questions, you can visit planDisney to ask me directly
