Hi Dishan! Welcome to planDisney! It's great to have you stop by!
I'm excited to hear about your upcoming trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort! Splitting your stay between two fantastic Disney Resort hotels is a wonderful idea, since it will give you the chance to experience more during your stay.
Adding the
Disney Dining Plan to your trip will help provide an all-inclusive feel to your vacation. It allows you to have a majority of your meals accounted for before your arrival, which will help make dining decisions a bit easier. In order to add a dining plan, it must be added to a resort reservation that is combined with a ticket package. Room-only reservations are not eligible to add one of the Disney Dining Plans. With your upcoming trip, you'll need to add a dining plan to your first resort reservation and then add an additional one to the second leg of your stay. However, you will need to split your park tickets between the two reservations as well. Otherwise, your second resort reservation will not include park tickets, which in turn will not allow you to add the dining plan to that portion of your stay
When planning a split-stay vacation, the best way to approach it is by treating each resort reservation as its own vacation. For example, with your first four nights at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, you can add a ticket package for the number of days you plan to visit the parks, then add one of the dining plans to this portion. Your meal credits will begin on your check-in day, then expire at midnight of your check-out day. Then, your next three nights at
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, you can add the park tickets you need for these days, along with the dining plan that fits this portion of your stay. This will allow you to have meal credits for the entire length of your stay.
There are two dining plans to choose from. The
Disney Dining Plan allows for one Quick-Service meal and one Table-Service meal each night of your stay. The
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan allows for two Quick-Service meals each night. With the information you provided in your question, it seems like the Disney Dining Plan will be your best bet for the first part of your stay, and the Quick-Service Dining Plan will work best for the last three nights.
Dishan, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay!
