Planning on spending 4 days at the parks. At booking my husband included my inlaws in the travelling party and signed up for the Dining Plan. After reading up I really think my family atleast needs the deluxe dining plan. Can the party split meal plans?

    Welcome, JoEllen!

It sounds like you and the hubby are planning the practically perfect vacation with your in-laws. I hope you are having a marvelous time deciding on the details of your adventure. I always think planning the magic is half the fun.

If your in-laws are on the same reservation package as you, then you'll all need to have the same Disney Dining Plan. Perhaps you can show them the benefit and cost advantages of upgrading to the Deluxe Dining Plan along with you all. If not, you'll have part of your family's meals covered through the Dining Plan you already have and will only need to budget for the additional meals you plan on enjoying. I suggest using your Dining Plan credits for the more expensive meals and paying out of pocket for the less luxurious.

I hope this helps in your planning, JoEllen! Disney Dining is one of my favorite topics, so if you need assistance with anything else or any restaurant recommendations, please let me know.

    Have a magical vacation!
