If we are planning on spending a day at our hotel, on property, can we still eat inside of Epcot? Or do we need a ticket for Epcot to do dinner at one of their restaurants? TIA

    Hi Jennifer!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Thank you for sending in this question, as I am sure there are other Guests who are wondering the same thing.  To enter any Walt Disney World Resort theme park, or water park, you will need a valid park admission ticket for that day.  This applies for entry to the theme park for any reason, for any length of time, including just to quickly visit a shop within the park, or dine at one of the restaurants, even if you have no intention of enjoying a ride or attraction or show.  Can you arrange your schedule to make your Epcot day the same day as your dining reservation?  Even if you wanted to take a break mid-day and return for your dining reservation later, you would only need one park ticket for that day, and as you are returning to the same park you would not require a park hopper ticket.  If you decide to dine outside of a theme park that day, Disney Springs has a wonderful selection of restaurants - to suit every taste - and there is no admission ticket required.  Parking is also complimentary if you are driving there.  Another idea might be to make a reservation at one of the Disney Resort hotel restaurants.  Some of my favourites are Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (for the waterside location, the view across Seven Seas Lagoon to Magic Kingdom Park and possibly the fireworks if you time it well), California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort, again for the amazing view from the 15th floor across to Magic Kingdom Park and the chance to see the fireworks, and Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White at Disney's Wilderness Lodge for the great location, lovely food and the opportunity for photos with Snow White, Dopey and Grumpy and the evil Queen - if you are brave enough!  Dining reservations are recommended, and can be made up to 180 days in advance, online or by using your My Disney Experience account.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
