Martha Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Planning to spend 12/31 at a park, what would be the best recomendation? Going with kids from ages 3 to 11.

Because you'll be visiting on a holiday, Martha, there is a chance that the parks may close early for capacity.  For that reason, I would opt to visit one of the theme parks less likely to fill completely.  My first choice would be Animal Kingdom and my second would be Hollywood Studios.  There are plenty of attractions and shows at both of these parks to entertain your party, but the best news is that by choosing one of those parks you can probably avoid the heaviest crowds.  And if you're in the mood for fireworks, you can catch the midnight show from outside the Magic Kingdom on either the Polynesian Resort beach or that of the Grand Floridian.  Enjoy your trip!
