Hi Adriana!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that you'll be ringing in 2019 at Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to keep checking the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements, limited edition offerings, and snacks that celebrate this holiday.
While there are many, many, many
Good Neighbor Hotels of Walt Disney World Resort, they can all be considered close as all will require some kind of transportation to Magic Kingdom Park. (At Disneyland Resort in California, most Good Neighbor Hotels are within walking distance to the theme park entrance. Walt Disney World Resort is very large and walking from even Disney Resort Hotels to most of Disney's Theme Parks is impossible.)
The good news is that Disney has a list of high standards that non-Disney hotels must maintain to be considered a
Walt Disney World Resort Good Neighbor Hotel. As such, most hotels who do meet those standards to go above and beyond by providing transportation to Disney's Ticket and Transportation Center, which is just a Monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom Park.
For close hotels, stick to those that are across the street from Disney Springs, or who are a bit west of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park in Flamingo Crossing. I love that many of these hotels are international brand names, so I try to book a hotel I know and trust.
Something else that's neat about Disney's Good Neighbor Hotels is that most participate in the
Disney Quick-Service Dining Card program, to which My fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist Jill has a great explanation of those benefits.
I hope this helped, Adriana, and We'll See You Real Soon!
