Hi, I am planning to spend new year´s eve at Disney. Which restaurant is better to have dinner (character if possible) and enjoy the fireworks and the night as best as possible? I am a mother of two boys. Thanks!

    Hi Michelle!

Congratulations on your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Although special Holiday Dining venues have not yet been announced for New Year's Eve 2012, I can tell you there will be several options available. I would recommend booking a Holidays Around the World - Candlelight Dinner Package at The Garden Grill Restaurant.

Last New Year's Eve, Epcot had two special showings of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. One was at 7:00 p.m. and the other at 11:42 p.m. It is likely this year's fireworks will follow a similar schedule. However, it's always wise to confirm time(s) by visiting the Epcot Calendar once the December schedule of events is released.

I would also suggest arriving at the theme park early and not leaving until after the fireworks. Once theme parks reach capacity on New Year's Eve, Guests will not be allowed admittance to the theme parks. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.

Enjoy ringing in the New Year Disney-style!
