We are planning to spend a full day at Hollywood studios, including Fantasmic. Can you suggest any quiet and/or out of the way spots we could retreat to if we need to take a brief "time out?" Our kids are 11, 9 & 7.

    Hi Susan!!

It is so easy to spend an entire day at Disney's Hollywood Studios!!!  I can understand wanting to know some spots where you can relax and unwind for a few minutes.

There are a few spots that stick out in my head.  Towards the back of the park you will find the Pizza Planet Restaurant.  While the inside of the restaurant can be a bit loud due to all the arcade games and the number of kids that will be inside, there are actually some pretty quiet spots near the restaurant.  I would also recommend anywhere around Echo Lake.  This is located just near The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular.  While there is a little bit of traffic flow through this area it is still fairly quiet and has many areas to find some shade and seating.

I would also recommend getting to Fantasmic about an hour before showtime and just relaxing and enjoy people watching while in the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater!!

I hope that you have a very magical trip!!
