We are planning to spend the day of July 4th at Hollywood Studios, then have ADR at California Grille at 8:50pm. What is the best way to get there (we have a car) taking into consideration finding a parking spot? Willing to valet park if necessary.

    Hi Carlotta,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Viewing the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks from California Grille will certainly be a spectacular way to celebrate the Fourth of July! You can enjoy the show from the lounge inside or from the observation deck outside of the Restaurant. I suggest arriving a bit before your Advanced Dining Reservation time in order to secure a good viewing spot.

If you are worried about finding an available parking spot at Disney's Contemporary Resort, then I recommend valet parking. There is a $25 fee, but since you are visiting during a busy holiday, it will be worth the money to secure a parking spot. Another option would be to take a cab from Disney's Hollywood Studios over to Disney's Contemporary Resort. The Resort Hotel is a little over 5 miles from the Theme Park so if you don't mind spending a little money it's just a quick ride to get there and then back to the Theme Park after your meal.

I hope this information helps. Please visit us again if you have an additional vacation planning questions!
