Hi Jon,
Welcome to planDisney!
There are certainly Cast Members who can assist you with booking a
vacation package to the Walt Disney World Resort! Feel free to
contact them by phone when you are ready. Before I call, I always do some research on my own using the Walt Disney World website. Using the
vacation package link, you can click on Book your Walt Disney World Vacation today, enter your dates and number of people in your party, and compare prices across multiple resort hotels.
Once I have a few options for resort hotels, I then talk with the family and we consider the amenities of each resort hotel. We prefer resort hotels with multiple
transportation and
dining options. When making a resort hotel choice, we balance our budgetary constraints with our desired amenities. Now, we prefer resort hotels that are within walking distance to the parks.
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and
Disney's Contemporary Resort are within walking distance to Magic Kingdom and
Disney's BoardWalk Inn is within walking distance to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Given the dates of your trip, I would suggest booking a vacation package soon. Currently, all Guests must make
Disney Park Pass system reservations. So, once you book a vacation package, you will need to link it in your My Disney Experience account. After it is linked, you can then make Disney Park Pass system reservations.
Jon, when we first started planning Disney trips, we used a travel agency. I wanted an agent that I could talk with face to face. Now, I prefer booking directly through the Walt Disney World Resort. So, do some exploring on the website, talk with a Cast Member, and then decide if you would prefer to work with a travel agency. Whatever you do, make a reservation soon. We are so excited to welcome you to a world of magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
