I am planning a special day for my family. Animal Kingdom park in the daytime, dinner at Boma, then back to the park for nighttime attractions. I am driving. Could you recommend a good way to get around? use the car? Disney transport? Many thanks.

    Hello, Steve!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you have a magical day of adventure planned for your family. When I am on vacation, I like to use the complimentary Walt Disney World® Bus Service and let someone else do the driving! You can catch a bus from your Disney resort hotel to theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs. Buses usually begin running about one hour before theme park opening and run until one hour after theme park closing.

If you prefer to drive, you can park at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. I suggest using the bus service to catch a direct bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge for your dinner reservation at Boma-Flavors of Africa. After dinner, you can take a bus back to the theme park to enjoy the new Animal Kingdom nighttime experiences, which are expected to open spring 2016. When you are ready to leave the theme park for the day, you can head directly to your car!

I hope this helps! Be sure to leave room for one of my favorite Boma desserts, Zebra Domes! Please visit us again if we can answer any other questions you may have.

    Happy Planning!
