We are planning our son's 1st trip for next year. His birthday is at the beginning of Feb., however we probably won't make the trip until the 3rd or 4th week of Feb. Are there any special things Disney does for first time visitors and birthdays?

Hi Susan!  A first trip AND a birthday trip is going to be extra magical for your son!

There are plenty of ways to make your son's trip special.  This is a great link of ideas for celebrating birthdays while at Walt DIsney World.

You also should check out this link of ideas for making a first visit to Disney World extra special.   The autograph books and welcome gifts are some of my favorites.  And of course, the free pins are sure to get him some extra attention from cast members.  He can wear an "It's My Birthday" pin AND a "1st Visit" pin!

Additionally, this is a great resource for first trip planning to Disney World

I hope this helps you as you plan for your son's trip.  No matter what, he is sure to have a great time in the most magical place on Earth!  Please let me know if I can help you with any other questions as you plan.
