We are planning our 2yo sons first WDW trip with a total of 5 adults + him. I need DAS but I read that there is a 4 person limit. Would I be able to register all 5 but only bring 3 with me per ride? Also since he is under 3 does he count in the limit?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Jessi! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question!

As of the most recent updates to the Disability Access Service (DAS) program, the service is strictly issued to the registered Guest plus up to three additional people, which brings the standard total to four Guests. That means when the DAS holder redeems a return time for an attraction, the system will allow that Guest and the three other registered Guests to join them.

In your case, since your son is under the age of three, he would not count toward that limit because children under three do not require a theme park ticket. So your little one can absolutely ride with you without affecting the DAS group size.

With a travel party of five adults plus your toddler, the typical setup would be the DAS holder, three additional adults, and your son joining you for the attraction. If the rest of your group would like to ride as well, they can enter the regular queue or use their own Lightning Lane reservation if they have one.

That said, there are occasionally situations where Cast Members may allow immediate family members to join beyond the usual limit. These exceptions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are entirely at the discretion of the Cast Member assisting you. Because of that, they should always be viewed as a possibility rather than something guaranteed.

If you'd like clarity before your visit, you can also speak directly with a Cast Member during the DAS registration process online or stop by Guest Relations once you arrive. They will be the ones who can review your party and explain exactly how things will work for your situation. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We're always available and more than happy to help here at planDisney!

    Warm hugs,
