Hello. I am planning my son's first trip to WDW. He will be 17 months. I had a question about the Festival of Fantasy pkg. It gives a price for adults and children under 9. Will I have to purchase a meal for my son? Or can he share my meal? Thank you!

    Hi, Casey!

I am happy to tell you that your child under the age of 3 will not be charged to join you for the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining Package. Your son will be able to share your meal. This holds true for any Dining Package you might book including the Rivers of Light Dining Package or the Fantasmic! Dining Package.

The really good news is that you will also not pay for your little Mouseketeer to eat when dining at buffets or family style dining locations. However, anytime you want to order him his own meal off a menu at any location, you will have to pay for that. Once kids reach the age of 3, they will then begin to get charged. One more reason we love when our kids are little!

I hope you enjoy the wonderful Festival of Fantasy Parade! It is truly spectacular and one you will not soon forget!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
