I am planning my 2nd solo trip to WDW for early Sept. The first MNSSHP is scheduled during my trip and I have always been curious about it. Is this something that would be fun for a single adult? Or would it be too awkward? Thanks so much!

    Hi Elizabeth!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another wonderful question. September is my absolute favorite time to visit and one of the top reasons is Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  Sure my kids love it too, but I am definitely the one who enjoys it most out of our family and insists it remains a must-do each vacation.  The special "Boo-to-You" Halloween parade is one of a kind and will leave you howling with excitement.  The Headless Horseman's ride at the beginning and the grave diggers scraping their metal shovels along the pathway are truly spook-tacular sights to see!  Happy HalloWishes is probably my favorite fireworks show as well (although Holiday Wishes is a strong contender.)  It will leave you with chills as the Disney Villains take over the show and the sky.

I strongly suggest you take part in this amazing experience and hey, why not wear your favorite costume to the festivities?  Even if you don't feel comfortable going through the candy lines and saying "Trick-or-Treat," there will still be plenty of treats to enjoy that evening.

Please let me know if there is anything else I may assist you with, Elizabeth.  Enjoy your wonderful vacation and have a frightfully fun time!
