I am planning the shortest-ever trip to Walt Disney World with a split-stay between two DVC resorts. Can bell services transfer our luggage from one resort to another for us? I don't want to waste precious time that could be spent in the parks!

Hey there, Tishra! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so excited that you've stopped by with your Disney vacation planning question!

Even a short trip to Walt Disney World Resort can be jam-packed with BIG magic! In less than a month, you'll be arriving for your most magical split stay! How exciting! My family and I do a "split stay," where we stay at two different Disney Vacation Club Resorts, almost every time we visit Walt Disney World Resort. We plan our theme park days according to which park is in proximity to our current Resort, in order to either walk or take the quickest transportation option to and from the theme parks. We also love how the immersive theming of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts makes it feel like two vacations in one! In fact, we have a short, three-night split stay coming up next week, so you have come to the right place, and I'm thrilled to help you maximize your time playing in the theme parks!

I'm happy to tell you that Bell Services will gladly assist you in transferring your luggage and other non-perishable items from one Resort to the other! On your check-out day, pack up all of your belongings and count how many bags Bell Services will be transferring for you. Then, you can just hit the "Bell Services" button on the room phone and let them know to which Resort you are transferring and how many bags you have. A Cast Member will come to your room as soon as possible to gather your belongings and hand you a claim ticket. Just be sure to call 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time, as they may be busy assisting other Guests. If you find yourself in a hurry, you can always drop your bags off to Bell Services in the Resort lobby to save a little time. Then, Bell Services will transport your belongings and store them in a secure location at your new Resort. This process can take several hours, so be sure to pack any essentials that you may need that day, including medications, with you in your park bag. I have even packed swimsuits and a change of clothes for dinner in my park bag on a Resort transfer day, just to be safe! Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it's off to the theme parks you go!

When doing a short stay at Walt Disney World Resort, I always recommend park-hopping to maximize your magic! No matter where you have theme park reservations, if your admission has the Park Hopper Option, you can hop over to any other park after 2:00 p.m. for endless fun!

Tishra, I am wishing on a star that your "shortest-ever" trip is also the most-magical-ever! Please stop by any time with any planning question!

I hope to see ya real soon!
