We're planning a short trip to WDW during Vererans Day weekend (4 days). Which parks should we visit? Are there any special events we should book? Thanks!

    Hi Maribel!

Veteran's Day Weekend is a great time to visit Walt Disney World because there are so many great events happening this time of year!  Which theme parks you visit really depends on the type of ticket you purchase. Personally, I would recommend the three day park hopper, which would allow you to visit all of the parks as many times as you would like during those three days.

My favorite event is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom.  It does require an extra ticket purchase, but it's definitely worth the price and will get you into the Christmas spirit!  The lights down Main Street USA are truly magical!

If you or anyone else in your family is a runner, the Disney's Wine and Dine Half Marathon will be going on November 8-9.  This nighttime run takes you through three theme parks with characters and entertainment throughout.  Epcot's Food and Wine Festival will be open late these evenings as well, but be sure to check out the Food and Wine Festival even if you don't participate in the run!

These are just a few of the many events happening at Walt Disney World.  Thank you for asking the Mom's Panel, if you have more questions prior to your trip, we are always here for you! Have a Magical Day!
