Hi! We’re planning a short trip and would like to park hop. What are the best and quickest ways to get from park to park? Also, can I book single lightening lane passes for multiple parks at once? For ex: can I book flight of passage and guardians?

Hi there, Malka, and welcome to planDisney!

Park hopping is the way to go when vacationing at The Most Magical Place on Earth. While some like to really dive into each theme park (that’s a practically perfect plan, too), I like to get a taste of all four theme parks on any given visit. For example, start off saving the galaxy at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and end your day under the Happily Ever After fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park.

The most straightforward ways to get to theme park to theme park are to either take the complimentary Disney bus transportation or to drive if you have your own personal vehicle. Let’s break these down: With the complimentary bus transportation, you’ll walk to the bus areas just outside of the entrances of each theme park. Look for the signage that indicates the theme park that you want to go. If you’re driving (and not staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or not an Annual Passholder), you’ll only need to pay to park once—simply keep the receipt and show it to the next parking attendant at the next theme park.

There are some theme parks that connect via other cool transportation options. For instance, the Disney Monorail can take you from Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT and back. The Disney Skyliner, near the International Gateway/back entrance of EPCOT, can take you from EPCOT to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and vice versa.

AN EXTRA GEM: You can also use a rideshare service to get from one place to another. This is one of the quickest ways, but you’ll have to pay for it. Many of my buddies love using the Disney Minnie Van Service, which is powered by the Lyft app. Those are the cute polka dot vehicles that you’ll see driving around Walt Disney World property.

And I have great news, Malka. Yes! You absolutely can book multiple Lightning Lane Single Passes for one day and at the same time. Once your booking window opens, check off the various Single Pass experiences in the My Disney Experience App.

Malka, I hope that you have an amazing vacation! If you have any other questions before, during, or even after your visit, give us a holler here at planDisney. Any of the panelists will be more than happy to share tips and tricks with you.

    Magic always,
