Hi there Pam! We also have dietary concerns in our family and as a
result, I've discovered that Walt Disney World is absolutely
wonderful at accommodating special needs travel!
Babycakes in Downtown Disney
offers
delicious gluten-free, wheat-free, soy-free, casein-free, egg-free,
vegan and kosher baked goods, many of which now qualify as
snack items on the 2012 Disney Dining Plans!
The Babycake Bakery
recently started offering special dietary cakes that serve 8-10 people
and can be ordered for delivery to one of your already
booked Advance Dining Reservations at a Walt Disney World restaurant!
Just call the bakery at 407-938-9044 with at least a week’s notice and
have your restaurant confirmation number, date, and reservation time
handy. What a wonderful surprise for your daughter to have a cake that
the
entire family can enjoy delivered to your table at the end of a meal!
Also, don't forget to have your daughter's dairy allergy noted on all of your dining reservations either
online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. You may also wish to check out this
list of quick-service locations at the theme parks that, upon request, may accommodate guests' common food
allergy or intolerance requirements.
Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions my way in the days leading up to your trip!
