Planning a short trip during Verernas Day weekend. Considering what the weather is like during November, what should we pack? Thanks!

    Hi Maribel,

November tends to be dry and generally is still pretty warm, often hot. The high temperatures should average around 80 with lows near 60 -- perfect theme park weather!

I wear shorts and sandals through at least Thanksgiving, sometimes up until Christmas, depending on what kind of fall we're having. So I would recommend you pack mostly shorts and t-shirts with at least one pair of jeans and a light jacket or hoodie for after the sun goes down.

I always bring along a small poncho, just in case it rains, though the chances are slim in November.

And don't forget the sunscreen! Just because it's late fall doesn't mean the sun isn't strong enough to give you a painful burn.

I'd also pack swimsuits. The pools at the Walt Disney World resorts are all heated to 82 degrees and will be comfortable for many guests.

Early November is a great time to visit! I hope you have a chance to catch the end of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival or one of the first nights of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

I hope you have a magical visit. Enjoy!
