Hi! We are planning our Sept/Oct 2017 vacation and getting ready to make ADR! We are staying at All Star Movies, using the bus system, what is the best way to get to Chef Mickeys, Cape May and The Polynesian Dinner Show?

    Hi Wendy!

I'm happy to hear you're in the planning stages for your upcoming vacation, and are ready to make your Advanced Dining Reservations! It sounds like you're planning some amazing meals with your family.

Here's my best advice for traveling from Disney's All Star Movies Resort to the restaurants you've mentioned:

To Chef Mickey's: Take the bus to Magic Kingdom Park, then transfer to the Resort Monorail for a quick ride to Disney's Contemporary Resort. You can also walk to the Contemporary Resort from the Magic Kingdom - it's about a ten-minute walk down a shaded path.

To Cape May Cafe: Take the bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios, then hop on a Friendship Boat (you'll see the boat launch right past the park entrance), and take a short boat ride over to Disney's Beach Club Resort. You can also walk to the Beach Club from the entrance of Hollywood Studios - it's about a 10-15 minute walk along Crescent Lake, over to Disney's Boardwalk area and across to the Beach Club Resort.

To Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show: Take the bus to Magic Kingdom Park, then transfer to the Resort Monorail for a quick ride to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Check in at the Luau check-in desk in the main Lobby of the Great Ceremonial House, then make your way to the open-air theater in Luau Cove.

I recommend giving yourself an hour to an hour and a half to travel to your dining reservation locations. I hope this helps with your planning! Have a magical day! - Diane W.
