Planning a September 2020 trip to DW. Will the new Star Wars hotel be open since the new Star Wars land will be open by then?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Katrina!

All Galactic citizens are eagerly awaiting the grand opening of the highly-anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and the new Star Wars themed Resort hotel at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The last transmission we received from the Resistance could only confirm the Star Wars immersive hotel is currently under development on the south side of Disney's Hollywood Studios, east of World Drive. Now that you are aware of its location, please make sure this highly sensitive information isn't leaked to the First Order.

We haven't received any further transmissions regarding when the one-of-a-kind Star Wars Resort hotel at Walt Disney World Resort will be opening. Despite the strong gifts in the Force we collectively possess here on the Moms Panel, we cannot yet see clearly enough into the future to give you a firm opening date at this time.

I'm reminded of Master Yoda's wise words, "difficult to see... always in motion is the future..." It is possible that the Rebel-Spies-transmission you seek may be quite imminent. However, it could also be forthcoming after another cycle around the Coruscant solar system. Therefore, I suggest the best course of action is keeping an eye on the transmissions sent via the Disney Parks Blog for all Star Wars related updates.

Katrina, may the Force be with you!
