Hi- we are planning a Sept trip with a two year old and want to do the character dining. I see that there are alot of currently unavailable. As of today what is open?

Sitting down for a meal infused with extra fun by the addition of Disney Characters is a great way to add some unexpected magic to your vacation, Carla. I’m happy to offer some more information about current Character Meal availability.

Because your little one is just two, the first thing to come to mind is the Disney Junior Play n' Dine – Breakfast. This festive event puts some favorite Disney pals front and center and might be especially appropriate for your family.

Over at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Chef Mickey’s is currently open for breakfast. That was the first Character Meal I ever experienced with my children years ago. It’s a classic for good reason!

You might also consider the Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends at Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera. If you’d rather treat your little one to lunch or dinner, Chip 'n' Dale's Harvest Feast at The Garden Grill Restaurant is an excellent choice. This restaurant is especially unique because it slowly rotates as Guests dine. The food there is yummy, too, because many of the veggies served are grown right on site in the Living With The Land greenhouses. It gives whole new meaning to farm to table, doesn’t it?

Whichever you choose, it’s important to make your dining reservations as soon as is possible, up to sixty days in advance. You really can’t go wrong with any of these choices, Carla. I hope I’ve helped give you some insight that will lead you to the right choice for your family.
