    We are planning a Sept 2020 trip and are thinking of doing a split stay. If we do, can we get the dining plan for our stay at one resort and then not get it for the remainder of our stay? Will our mugs still be usable? TIA!

    Hi Jessica! Your question makes my heart so happy! I love how proactive you are being with your planning! September 2020 will be here before you know it!

    We do split stays often. In fact, we will be staying at two different Resort hotels this summer and plan to do exactly what you are asking about. We are going to begin in a deluxe studio at Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge for a night or two, and then move to a two bedroom villa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

    We plan to have a dining plan while we are at Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. If we have any unused meals and snacks, they will expire at midnight on the day we move over to Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Our refillable mugs are the same way. The mugs are associated with the initial package and will expire at midnight when we checkout. If, however, we decide to get a dining plan when we move over to Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, we will receive new refillable mugs. I can't wait!
