    We're planning a Sept 09 trip with our son who will be 16 months, and we're lookingfor a recommendation for a sturdy, lightweight stroller that folds up easily. I saw one posted here a while back, but I can't find it now. Do you have any suggestions?

    Congratulations your upcoming trip!  I'm not sure whose post you were referring to, but if you search "stroller recommendations" on the Moms Panel site, a bunch of panelists' views will pop up.  I am a big fan of the bottom-of-the-line Maclaren stroller.  It's super light (under 10 pounds), can be folded up in a snap, has a HUGE canopy and a good-sized basket.  There are a number of similar makes and models (the one I described is basically a "fancy" umbrella-type stroller) in a variety of price ranges.  Combi makes a very similar one, that is a bit less expensive and comes in all kinds of funky colors too!

    I have also recommended looking at garage sales and on-line auctions for whatever stroller you decide on.  I've seen a lot of listings for strollers that say, "used once for a trip to Disney."  You may be able to save on a gently used one.
