Planning a Sept 2013 trip and it will be our girls (4yo & 2yo) first trip to WDW. We hope to make it special for them and relaxing for us as well. We are not planning on spending everyday in the parks, so which deluxe resorts would you recommend?

    Hi Jennifer!

We are big believers in spending time relaxing and enjoying our resort.  On our last trip, we had the opportunity to stay at Disney's Yacht Club Resort.  My children were almost two and four on that trip and they absolutely loved the resort.  Most of all, they loved Stormalong Bay, the huge aquatic complex, which the Yacht Club shares with Disney's Beach Club Resort.  There is a sandy-bottom pool, perfect for little ones to wade and dig in and even a lazy river.  My husband and I enjoyed relaxing by the pool as well.

In the evenings, it's great to stroll around Crescent Lake over to Disney's Boardwalk Area and you'd be steps away from Epcot as well.  It was nice to not have to take a bus or car to Epcot and we hopped right onto a boat for our days at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Also, on select evenings, you can head over to the beach on the lake and roast marshmallows and watch classic Disney movies under the stars.  I definitely think Disney's Yacht or Beach Club Resorts are the perfect choice for your family.

Please let me know if you have any other questions, Jennifer!  I'd love to help you plan your magical vacation.
