Hi, Whitney!
I can't think of a better place to celebrate your son's 5th birthday than at the Walt Disney World Resort! I've got a couple of restaurants in mind for a super fun birthday dinner!
My kiddos both love the
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant at Disney's Hollywood Studios. As you walk in, you'll feel as though you've walked right into a 1950's drive-in! It's always nighttime in this restaurant too and can be a great reprieve from the heat outside. The "tables" are actually classic convertible car booths and they're facing the big screen where campy movie clips are playing! They've got a great menu that you can view online using the link above.
Another suggestion would be the
Coral Reef Restaurant located in Epcot. This restaurant has panoramic windows looking into
The Seas with Nemo & Friends aquarium where you'll see sharks, turtles and stingrays, plus over 85 species of tropical fish swimming in the living coral reef! Every table in the restaurant has a great view and the cuisine is amazing!
As for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, your event ticket will allow you entrance into Magic Kingdom Park at 4:00 p.m. We always like to make an early dinner reservation at
The Plaza Restaurant on Main Street between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. so that we're all done by the time the Party officially starts at 7:00 p.m. These parties do occasionally sell out in early September, so just keep a close eye out!
Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question and please don't hesitate to write back in with any others that you think of!
Have a Pixie Dusted vacation!
