planning for sept 2012-want to book BC because of pool but saw photos of old port royal pool at CBR and it looked good too-dont mind paying for deluxe accom but with money i could save we could do more - can you give me specifics on CBR pool?

    Hi Dawn!

The pool at the Caribbean Beach Resort is very nice and it is well themed; it is one of the better pools at Walt Disney World.  However, it it not in the same league as Stormalong Bay at the Beach Club.  Stormalong Bay is an amazing sand bottom pool divided into three sections.  It has a very long water slide, a lazy river, and an actual sand island where children can build sand castles.  My children can easily spend an entire day playing at that pool.  I can't make that same statement for any other pool at Walt Disney World.  If you are interested in swimming at your resort for a half a day or more, then definitely go with the Beach Club.  The Beach Club also has a great location; you can walk to Epcot in about five minutes and you can walk to Disney's Hollywood Studios in about 20.  It's my favorite Epcot area Deluxe Resort.

Good luck with your decision and write back if you have any more questions!
