I am planning our second trip to WDW for my family of 5, DH, 3DDs 12,10 and 8. Which would you recommend the Beach Club or the Polyneisan? We would love to try Stormalong Bay pool at the Beach Club but the monorail seems so convenient. Thanks Moms Panel.

Margaret, the Beach Club is our family's favorite.  We love Stormalong Bay, and the location is great.  You are walking distance from EPCOT, the Boardwalk and Disney's Hollywood Studios (although the walk to the Studios is a little long).  You can also access these parks via ferry.

Having said that, the Polynesian is a great hotel as well, and my family is looking forward to staying there on our next vacation.  The monorail is really convenient, especially if you'll be spending the majority of your time in the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.  Also, the rooms at the Polynesian are slightly larger than those at the Beach Club.

Either resort is a great choice, but Stormalong Bay can't be beat!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
