We are planning our second trip to WDW and bringing my parents. They are not staying on site but will have their own vehicle. Can they park at our resort (Port Orleans Riverside) or meet us at one of the parks as part of their ticket fee?

    Hi Angela,

How wonderful that your entire family including your parents will get to experience the magic of Walt Disney World together.

Unfortunately, your parents will not be allowed to park at your resort during the day. Parking is restricted to guests staying at the resort and guests visiting for a limited few hours for dining at the resort. They would need to park at the self-parking lots near the theme park you plan to visit each day. You can then meet up with your party there.

I would also suggest choosing a meeting spot that is a little more specific than in the front of the park or at Cinderella's Castle. These areas can be filled with people and may be harder to find the rest of your traveling party. Instead, choose places like near the entrance to City Hall at Magic Kingdom or at the Darkroom (gift shop near entrance) at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

    Have a magical trip!
