Hi, Misty!
Since you are a family of 6, I am guessing you stayed in one of the ultra-cool Family Suites at
Disney's Art of Animation. These Value Suites are just perfect for families!
The most comparable room to what you stayed in will be a Family Suite at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort. The suites at this resort have the same basic features: queen bed, sleeping for 6 guests, 2 full baths plus the kitchenette. These Family Suites are older, but are a bit less expensive. The All-Star Music Family Suites will not have the "pizazz" of Art of Animation, but certainly enough space for all of you to spread out.
Just slightly more expensive than what you probably paid at Art of Animation will be the
Cabins at Fort Wilderness. These fun cabins have all the comforts of home: a full kitchen, sleeping for 6, a living area, and an outdoor area with a grill and picnic table. The only downside will be the cabins only have one bathroom. Staying at Fort Wilderness is a whole different vacation. Although you are just a quick boat ride from the Magic Kingdom, you can make a whole trip out of the activities available right at the Fort: horse back riding, canoeing, archery, bike riding, movies under the stars, and so much more.
I hope you find the perfect resort option for your family!
Cathy
