Hi Jenna:

Although subject to change every year, Disney typically starts putting up Christmas decorations around the first or second week of November. By Thanksgiving, expect to see the parks fully decorated for the Holidays. In true Disney fashion, the decorations are set up at night, as if by magic. Starting in November, you may start to notice more and more Christmas and Holiday decorations where you did not see them the day before.

Although not necessarily when the castle lights will return next year, this past year, the Cinderella Castle Holiday Wish Dream Lights were on display starting on December 4th, transforming Cinderella's Castle into a nighttime Holiday ice palace.
